This page is designed to help people find the
answers to problems or questions with Browser Start.
It's for you to set as your homepage. I find that lots of custom homepages have too much on them. If you keep it simple, and just have the search boxes for sites you regularly visit on your homepage it's much tidier, and you get get stuff done quicker. With the JavaScript tabs for each search field too, it's really easy to switch between two completely different searches. As a proof of concept, my current homepage is http://alan.browserstart.co.uk/. Never create something you wouldn't use yourself. :-)
If you give them the address, yes. It sure does make things easy though, because there are no log-ins or anything to go through. If you want to protect your page, you can make your page permanent so no furthur editing can be done though, if you click "Edit your page" in the top right hand corner of the page and check the "Lock from any further editing" box, then you're all set. Now that page can't be edited. Use with care though, because even you can't edit the page anymore!
Yeah it is, but it doesn't really make it any slower. I really like my current host, and don't really see the need to move this place over to a UK based service when it is just as fast.
